Guodian Chifeng Chemical Co., Ltd. website shows that the project utilizes abundant lignite resources in the Yuanbaoshan open-pit mine of Guozhuang Pingzhuang Coal Group in Guodian, using Lurgi coal gasification technology, wide temperature conversion, low-temperature methanol scrubbing, liquid nitrogen scrubbing, low-pressure ammonia synthesis, and carbon dioxide Air stripping urea process, large particle granulation and other advanced technologies at home and abroad. The total investment of the project is 3.3 billion yuan. The annual production capacity is 300,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 520,000 tons of large-particle urea.
The project was started in April 2009, and it was commissioned on April 9, 2012. The ventilation process was started on May 6. The purification process was opened on June 20, and the ammonia synthesis process was opened on July 17th. All of them were opened on August 3. Production process to produce qualified urea products.
