Among them, there are 1 person in criminal detention and 40 in administrative detention. The police said that apart from the fact that some of the refusal passengers were indeed eager to hurry, there were also passengers who deliberately did not accept security checks or carried contraband to strengthen the station. The public transport team hopes that when passengers take the subway, they will set aside time for security inspection and consciously accept the security check.
It is understood that since the beginning of this year, the public transport brigade has handled 62 people who refuse security screening. Among them, there are 1 person in criminal detention, 40 in administrative detention, 3 in administrative warning, 6 in critical education, 11 in mediation, and 1 in fine.
There are three main reasons why passengers refuse security screening: Some of the passengers did not follow the security checkers’ dissuasion because of a hurry, and there were refusal incidents; a small number of passengers did not obey the discouragement of the security checkers because they were carrying prohibited articles, and tried to carry prohibited goods. There is still a class of passengers who do not understand or support the security inspections. According to reports, the majority of people who refuse to accept security inspections are over 30 years old, and there are a few female passengers.
The police said that the subway is a relatively closed environment. Security checks are for the safety of passengers. Therefore, passengers are expected to support and understand security. When taking the subway, it is best to set aside time for security inspection, consciously accept the security check, and develop the awareness of taking the initiative to take the security check.
