In resolution 290 of March 30, 2012, the Belarusian Council of Ministers stated that China’s Export-Import Bank loaned 1.86495 billion U.S. dollars to Belarus for the construction of a 300,000-ton soda ash plant in Mozili, Gomel.
According to the loan agreement between the Belarusian government and China Export-Import Bank on September 18, 2011 regarding project financing, Bank of Belarus was designated as a lending agent bank.
