February car prices lower commercial vehicles from rising to falling

According to the price monitoring center of the National Development and Reform Commission monitoring 36 large and medium-sized cities throughout the country, the domestic automobile market prices generally declined slightly in February, and the prices of domestic cars and imported cars both slightly declined.

The monitoring results released by the Price Monitoring Center on the 18th showed that domestic auto prices fell by 0.36% in February from the previous month, down 1.47% from the same period of last year, and prices of passenger cars and commercial vehicles declined slightly in varying degrees.

The price of passenger cars dropped by 0.19% month-on-month, which was the same as that of the previous month, which was a 4.00% decrease from the same period of last year. Among them, the price of basic type and sports passenger car decreased by 0.15% and 0.20% respectively from the previous month, which was a year-on-year decrease of 2.72% and 5.65% respectively. The minibus price rose 0.24% month-on-month and 1.44% year-on-year.

The price of commercial vehicles rose from high to low, down by 0.60% from the previous quarter and up by 1.57% from the same period last year. Among them, the price of commercial buses dropped by 0.81% from the previous month and rose by 0.34% year-on-year. Among the subdivided models, the prices of light and large passenger cars dropped by 0.43% and 0.90% respectively from the previous month, with year-on-year increases of -9.02% and 3.94% respectively; The price of trucks fell steadily, falling by 0.36% qoq and up 3.29% year-on-year. The price of medium- and heavy-duty trucks fell by 0.06% and 0.70% respectively in the subdivided models, up by 1.97% and 4.48% year-on-year, respectively. This was a 0.46% increase from the previous month and an increase of 2.40% year-on-year.

The monitoring showed that the price of imported automobiles in February fell by 2.11% compared with the previous period, and was 4.92% higher than the price of the same period of last year. Among them, the prices of imported cars and imported SUVs dropped by 2.44% and 1.76% respectively from the previous month.
