The front passenger seat airbags of some vehicles in this recall area were equipped with a non-desiccant ammonium nitrate gas generator manufactured by Takata Corporation. When the airbag is deployed, the gas generator of the airbag may be damaged abnormally, causing the debris to fly out and injuring the people in the vehicle. This poses a safety hazard.
For the relevant information of the recall incident, China Netcom called the Guanghua Honda Automobile Co., Ltd. customer service center official 400 service hotline as a consumer and consulted. The other party stated that it has received the manufacturer's recall notice and that the recall of some models will begin on October 23, 2017. Netcom also consulted authorized dealers to inquire about the implementation of the vehicle recall plan.
