Nanjing Normal University unveiled a cooperation laboratory with Nikon Instruments

On January 11, 2011, the Life Science College of Nanjing Normal University and Nikon Instruments (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to unveil the cooperation laboratory. Mr. Shankou Haoping, Chairman and General Manager of Nikon Instrument (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Mr. Xiao Xiufu, Deputy General Manager, Mr. Xue Zhiwei, General Manager of Jiangnan Yongxin Company, and Mr. Gu Xiaohao, Deputy General Manager, etc., all visited the site. Chen Guoxiang, deputy head of Nanjing Normal University, heads of related departments such as the Science and Technology Department and the 211 Office, and members of the leadership team of the Chinese Academy of Sciences jointly met with distinguished guests and attended the opening ceremony.

Huang Pei, vice president of Nanjing Normal University, presided over the unveiling ceremony. Dean Yuan Sheng presented the distinguished guest to commemorate Prof. Chen Bangjie’s monograph on international conferences. Chen Shuanglin, party secretary of the hospital, presented the VIP guest with a picture book from the Nanjing Normal University.

Nanjing Normal University has 23 sets of Nikon microscopes, especially the newly configured Nikon A1 laser confocal microscope system, which is mainly used in scientific research work and plays an important role in cultivating postgraduates and undergraduates. The establishment of a cooperative laboratory will mark a new stage in our cooperation with Nikon Instruments (Shanghai) and Jiangnan Yongxin. I believe that in the future, with the joint efforts of all parties involved, the cooperation between the two units will give everyone a good prospect of a win-win situation. It is hoped that this opportunity will allow the Nanjing Normal University to have a broader platform for the construction of the laboratory, so as to promote the development of Nanshi University's science and engineering department to develop better and faster; on the other hand, it hopes that this cooperation laboratory will be given to Nikon and Jiang Nanyong. The new company sets up cooperation with universities.
